   Hello,

   Is there any way to make specified categories private? Meaning, only registered users can access posts filed under that category, and perhaps password protection too? This is something which is very important for me, but I cannot find a way to do it.

   Any help will be much appreciated.

   Well, the plugin which should provide category privacy is too old for the newest versions of WP.

   Does anyone know of a current plugin which will allow me to set an entire category as private so that any post I add to that category is by default a private post?

   I'm using role scoper to restrict access to categories based on user roles. It's working quite well in wp-2.7.1.
