How to make a WP site as simple as possible (2 posts)

    Hello,

I'd like to set up a WordPress site, on which someone else will be adding 99% of the content. That person might not be very good at "computer skills", so I would like to make this site as simple to use as possible. In fact, the only features needed will be: adding/editing/deleting posts and attaching doc/pdf/jpg files to them. No tags, no categories, no commenting etc. It would be best if all unneeded options were simply invisible. Is there an easy way to achieve this in WordPress? (By "easy" I mean no PHP skills - it's ok to click here and there or grep some file and comment out a piece of code, but nothing more - I'm not a programmer, either.)

    TIA

    You can see here: http://digwp.com/2010/10/customize-wordpress-dashboard/

I have also just used CSS to display:none in some cases. Everything in WP has a class or way to target directly if you understand how to.
