Hi everyone! I didn’t know how to describe what it is I want but this is it. My site is http://www.camptonheights.org. My Pastor would like me to make a section on our website that would be very similar to the section on the http://www.saltcreekchurch.org/ site below the slider area or beneath the fold? Anyway the part with the banner and the three boxes that talk about events, location, and welcome. I have no idea what to call it or even how to search for a plugin or widget to emulate what they are doing. It looks like they don’t use wordpress but I know we have something out there that would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Yes, that is an ASP site running on IIS6.

The three areas that are below the slider can be created many ways in WordPress.

    1. A theme that provides a three column page template.
    2. Custom Widget areas.
    3. Creating the HTML and adding to a page.
    4. Specific plugins (have not researched which).

All of the above will also likely include some CSS work.

Note: the theme you have in use may actually be able to do >1. Please consult theme provider/follow their theme documentation.

Ok, thank you Pioneer! I have a custom widget plugin. I’ll take a look at that.
