How to lock user on registration

    Before upgrading I was using $GLOBALS[‘theme_my_login_security’]->lock_user( $user ); to lock a user upon registration so that their account could be verfied. After upgrading to 6.3.8 I get an error PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function lock_user()

    How would I go about calling that method now since it seems some things have changed?
