   I know how to hyperlink to other pages but is there a way for me to hyperlink to different places within the same post?

   I basically need this feature in order to add a bit of order to my longer blog posts. I'd like to be able to have a list of links at the beginning of a blog post that'll link to a certain paragraph further down. Sort of like a 'contents' page.

   I've seen it done on other websites, just wondering how since i'm coming up with nothing on Google (probably because i'm wording the request incorrectly!).

   I think what you are asking about is just creating an anchor within a page or a post.
   
   This article sums it up pretty well.

   Some tutorials on same page anchors listed on Google as well.
