   Question from a newbie:
   Is there a really simple way of linking text (formatted as a hyperlink perhaps) to an image which is not embedded in the post but held in an "images" folder.
   As an example if I have a text entry for "Tate Springs Hotel" in a posting and also have available a large image of this hotel (too big to adequately display in the weblog)how would I go about doing that?

   The correct markup would look like:

   <a href="http://some_domain_com/images/this_image.jpg">Tate Springs Hotel</a>

   With WP's editor, simply highlight the text you want to act as a link as per usual and then enter the full web address of the image you want to link to when prompted.
