how to limit the number of posts in a category per user

    hello all!

    thanks for your help in advance – i have a problem, and would be happy to get rid of it:

    currently i am designing a site for our artist collective
    (http://www.backlab.at – old page) and we want to have a category, in which each user can only publish one post. that would be the collective page, where each artist can describe himself, including a picture.

    thats all! but i do not have an idea, how i should realize it. any suggestions?

    I don’t know of any method that would do what you want.
    You can limit the categories the users can post to (by plugin) but as far as I know, you cannot limit the number of posts.
