   I forgot my username and password of this site. Now I am trying to register a new account it is giving me error that my email already exists.
   Now I am not able to use my email for this site. I registered a new email account for just posting this message.
   If possible please tell me how can I recover my account?
   Is there any way to reset my password by my email?

   Do you need your old username/password?

   I mean, unless you have a plugin under that ID, it's just for show.

   Well, if nothing else, I had to use a different email address to register so that I could comment and tell you you're wrong that having a username is "just for show".

   username is not for show but it is your identity!!

   Yes, your username is your identity. Which is why... well. Most of us actually remember it :)

   No there's no easy way to get your ID if you've forgotten it. It can be done, but since it's a pain and only one person I know has access for it, I hesitate to ask him UNLESS there's a really strong need (not want) to do so.
