• On my website:

    http://raghavsuri.com/wordpress/

How do I keep the sidebar (with the social, search etc widgets) on every page? It only shows up on the home page.

Also, is there a way of creating a home page that automatically goes to the blog without having to do an HTML forwarding code?

    Thanks!

  • It looks to me that there are two sidebars for that theme (sidebar blog and sidebar page). I believe “sidebar blog” is what is showing up on your homepage so in order to have it show up on your sub pages without writing any code simply duplicate the widgets to the “sidebar page”

As for “Also, is there a way of creating a home page that automatically goes to the blog without having to do an HTML forwarding code?” I’m not quite sure what you mean.

Do you want http://raghavsuri.com to show http://raghavsuri.com/wordpress/?

    if so might help

    Thanks,

What I mean is this. When you navigate to another page on the wordpress site, if you want to go back to the blog you’ll have to click on ‘Raghav Suri’ above the image. Is there a way that I can make a page that shows up in the menu which takes you to the blog without having to do HTML forwarding?

I think I understand, you mean something like the “Home” link on this page?

If so under Appearance->Menus you can create a new menu using what ever pages you wish and there should be a “Home” page that you can add to the menu. Then simply save the menu and select it under “Theme Locations->Navigation”
