I've really tried to search all the forums and the internet about my question, but whenever I searched something that included both wp.org and wp.com, it was about the differences of both.
My question is the following: how can I integrate my wp.org based site into the wp.com system to the max. I know that there is Jetpack, but what I want is first of all that the visitor/reader has the feeling that your site is part of wp.com, which means the dashboard's there, that they can easily subscribe the website to their wp.com account ('Follow') and that they can write comments using their wp.com account.
Is that possible? What else do I need besides the Jetpack?
Is there a plugin like "Simple Facebook Connect" for WordPress.com that I didn't find?
Or is that something that you cannot do if your site is not wp.com hosted? Is that the price you pay?
