johannes75I have uploaded the wp-admin, wp-content and other folders and files directly to my "public_html", and the index file is there to. I have changed the namn of the config.sample.php file to "config.php" as they instructed me on Youtube. I have created Database (MySql) and username for database and password. I have written the correct namnes of database and user into the config.php file and saved.
I don´t know if I have to define what "host" i have too, and write that into the config.php file?
When i type http://www.elion.se/wp-admin/install.php it says:
"Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at ns31.manufrog.com. This could mean your host's database server is down.
•Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
•Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
•Are you sure that the database server is running?"
Maybe i need a specific database server namn from my webhotell-provider. I´ve asked them now but in the meantime maybe someone can give another solution???
