i found a theme i like on wordpress.ORG, but when i go to my account on wordpress.COM it does not give me the option to load it.
all i really want is to use a wordpress.ORG theme (capricorn), add info and put it up on a domain i have with godaddy.

how do i do this? why is there limited number of themes when i manage them from my account?
i can download the theme, but how do i add it on to my website or on wordpress.COM???

    any suggestions? thans.

Wrong forum, you need to ask at http://support.wordpress.com/

The short answer is you can't. WordPress.COM only supports themes they make available. If your theme is not there already then you are out of luck for that theme.

    Ok, this might help.

WordPress.com - they host, you just put up content, and have limited control over plugins and themes, and can only use the stuff they have cleared. but they manage install, backups, etc. You are using a service.

Self-hosted (using stuff from wordpress.org and go daddy). - YOU arrange hosting, you install the program (go daddy has a easy tool), you manage the whole thing; plugins, themes, content, security, etc. You can put in any theme you want, but you manage it.
Wordpress.org is a site which helps with info on doing self hosted blogs.

If you want your own domain, but want hosting by wordpress.com, go check into it at wordpress.com. If you want to manage your own independent site, and have full control and responsibility, research here.

good luck, and have a nice day.
