Hello there!
I just started using wordpress and I was wondering if there is any way to install a couple of fonts I have on my computer. I write in greek so, since there is not a decent variety of greek fonts, I will have to use some custom ones.

Just use a simple plugin like ' WP CUFON ' which is available free . I have used it, and felt very good . Follow this link to the WP CUFON plugin page .
Or just use @font-face method if you're good at php/css coding . Google ' How to use @font-face in wordpress ' to find tutorials on this .

Do you mean that just adding the plugin will allow us to have different font choices in pages and posts without the need to add a child theme (as suggested by Esmi in this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-twenty-eleven-changes-to-the-main-static-page-appearance?replies=5)????
