this is a simple question, but i couldnt find it by searching. i want to know how to include an rss feed on a static page. i'm guessing it's pretty simple. also, how do you limit the number of posts displayed / make it only show the exerpt or title instead of all of the content. thanks

you need to use an aggregator script, like CG-Feedread, or the built-in Magpie code, or something. That reads and outputs the html.

HOWEVER, in order to run the aggregator script/plugin code, you need some way to call it from a Page. There are three ways:
    1. My CG-QuickPHP plugin gives a shorthand format for making single, simple, PHP calls within the body of a page/post. It's fast, but limited.
    2. There are a few PHP-execution plugins that allow you to embed PHP code 'normally' into your page/post body. They're slower, but allow complex/unlimited PHP.
    3. Make a custom page template that calls the aggregator, and assign it to the static page.
