   We have this blog: http://blog.cairngormmountain.co.uk/

   Belongs to our old corporate website of which we now have redeveloped using Drupal (wasn't my decision)

   We need to move the above blog from the server it's currently hosted on but i don't want to create/host another WordPress site via our new webhosting arrangement (costs etc.), and as it's now a Drupal platform.

   is it possible to import the blog posts into a new Blog over at wordpress.com ?

   Use Tools->Export/Import option for WP.com

   thanks

   the original blog is on WordPress v2.3.1 and i can't see a way to export the required WXR data file format that wordpress.com requires

   is there a way round this?

   can i upgrade to the latest version from v2.3.1 ?
