   Somehow my database got corrupted when upgrading to 2.8.4 (I think).

   Regardless of what happened, I'm now using a fresh install and would like to export the users form my previous database and import them to my new database.

   I followed the instructions on how to export the data and have exported and imported the tables wp_users and wp_usermeta. The users show up in the database, but not in the list of users in my fresh install.

   Why would this be and what did I do wrong? (Besides not backing up my database before upgrading....)

   Please help! Thanks!

   Hi,

   Make sure that your old database exported file is complete with details and it is not corrupted. Also make sure that you have perform the right process to import the database table in correct new installation.

   Thanks Shane. I restored it to the wrong database... Yes - I am blonde :)
