   For a long time I have been running my website under WordPress 2.0.5 on my own server. Now I am moving to a new server, new URL, and new installation of WordPress (2.9.2), but I would like to transfer my posts and pages.

   The new WordPress has a nice import function, it seems, but the old version does not have the equivalent export function (WordPress eXtended RSS, I mean). I can use the regular RSS feed for import, but that means only the latest posts and not the pages.

   Any suggestions?

   Two approaches:

   1. Update to 2.1 and use technosailor's plugin to export the data so you can import

   2. Or perform an upgrade as described in Upgrading WordPress.
