I was wondering if it is possible to transfer a site made with CMS made Simple to WordPress, and if so what the easiest method would be. I found some info on the "CGContentUtils" tool you can download and use within CMS and was wondering what the tool exports and if the xml that it exports can be imported to WordPress.

  3. There is no CMS Made Simple import filter.

You can try and work with a CMS Made Simple CSV export file from phpmyadmin. Export a sample CSV out of WordPress to see what the WP format is. Work with the CMS Made Simple CVS file to make it the same format and then you can try and import.
    See http://codex.wordpress.org/Database_Description

The RSS feed is another way to import the posts into WordPress via XML since WordPress doesn't have a direct import filter for CMS Made Simple.
