How to Implement an Image Slider? (7 posts)

    Hi,

I am wondering how to go about implementing an image slider? Essentially, I would like an image slider that is displayed on every page of a website, but changes according to the page it is on.

For example, if the slider was on a page named 'Reviews', it would display, let's say five, of the latest posts from that category.

If you know of any plugins that could help with this, or any tutorials, then that would be great.

    Thanks for your help.

    I would recommend this plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gallery-plugin/

You create different galleries for different pages.
Then when editing the page you want the gallery, you press the Gallery plugin button and you will be given the option to use a SlideShow or a list of images.

Thanks, looks promising! Is it easily customisable with CSS?

Is it easily customisable with CSS

I wouldn't be able to answer this for another, however I found CSS easily customisable.

I'm so sorry, I'm talking about Easy Nivo Slider plugin, but the plugin I recommended (above) does use a slider.

No worries! I've used Nivo Slider before, but didn't know it could do this! Thanks.
