[resolved] How to ignore plugins not used when not logged in? (3 posts)

    Hi

I use some plugins which I am pretty sure are not used when I am not logged in & accordingly not a cause of slowness for anyone but me (for example Media Library Assistant)

I can obviously just ignore the data given relating to that plug-in (though I may not be right in assuming it does nothing for a non-logged in user: it could actually be doing something I don't know about).

It would be great to assess my site with P3 as if I am not logged in

    Is this possible?

    With thanks in anticipation

    Best wishes

    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

What you're looking for is a manual scan. Here's how to do it:

    1.) Click start scan
    2.) Click manual scan
3.) In another browser (or incognito window), browse your site. P3 will still pick up your traffic because it's from your IP address.
4.) When your done, go back to the original window and click "I'm done"

If your traffic doesn't show up, this usually means you're using some caching system (either a reverse proxy like varnish or a static cache like wp super cache).

    I hope this helps!
