hi there i am trying to remove some of the meta information ( written by, posted on , tagged, category etc) from my postings. i dont want to remove all of it just the unecessary info. also the meta info appears below the blog post content rather than next to it. i want it to be next to it like on this blog:http://www.creativitykilledtherecession.com/

    here is my website:

if you change the code in single.php only your permalink pages are affected. you may also category.php -- that controls how category archives are displayed, archive.php -- that controls how archive pages look, page.php -- controls pages.

If you want to change the meta info on all your pages and posts no matter what the visitor is looking at, its easiest to just crack open all the files and look through them. Or not -- depending on your theme.
