[resolved] How to I add gravatars? (4 posts)

Okay, so how on earth do I add gravatars to my wordpress theme? I currently use 'Easy Gravatar' but in the admin page it shows the gravatar twice. I know wordpress 2.7 supports gravatars, but how do I actually get them to show up without using this plugin which seems a bit flakey.

    Any help would be great.

You have to register at, and upload your avatar to, gravatar.com first. When that is done and the plugin activated, your gravatar will show, as well as anyone else who is registered at gravatar.com. WP does not handle avatars natively, as would forum software.

So when there was this big fanfare about wordpress 2.7 now handling gravatars, was that all just BS?

If so then I should just stick with the rather flakey 'Easy Gravatar' plugin then, right?

It just seems odd because since updating to 2.7 there are now 2 gravatars shoing up in my admin page when I look at comments.
