How to host?

Just buying a domain name is like your business you named a business but now you need to find a location for your business so that is what host is a server where you manage your wordpress.

If you want just get you feet wet then install a server locally and I have articles and video on my website Click on my name on how to install wamp server and wordpress that will get you started on learning how to use wordpress I even have videos for memebers that will teach you how to use admin panel.

I’m also a newbie and recently got a GoDaddy hosted domain, then downloaded WordPress through the GoDaddy “products” section – it was installed automatically and the SQL databases got set up automatically. Easy. Only problem so far is my WP site is at my-domain/wordpress instead of my-domain. I’m trying to find out how to move it to the root.
