[resolved] how to hide blog title (4 posts)

    Hi. This is a pretty basic question I hope.

    I have a wordpress site at http://archive.tonymcnicol.com/ that uses a theme from Graph Paper Press integrated with Photoshelter. The problem is that the blog title shows in the menu bar (just to the left of "The Blog").

    I can add custom CSS via the Photoshelter interface, but have no idea what the code is to hide the blog title. If anyone can spare me a second to help out I'd be very grateful.

    Hi, Tony

    If you're going to use CSS to hide it, you might try something like this to keep that item from being displayed:

    .description { display: none; }

    Or you might try simply hiding it, like so:

    .description { visibility: hidden; }

    I know they might seem like the same thing, but they aren't. You can read up on the implications of each approach here, if you like:

    You're welcome. Glad to hear that worked. When you have a moment, could you mark this topic as resolved?
