   You need to check if your theme supports custom menus by clicking on Appearance>>>>Menus

   It all depends on how your theme coded what theme are you using.

   If your theme doesn't support WordPress custom menus, then you can actually enable it by follow steps on this post:

   Depends on the theme is i a bespoke or free theme. Some have styles for li, ul drop downs some not. Could you show the url please?
