[resolved] how to get topic rss into my email inbox? (7 posts)

    hi folks
    what do i do with the rss link below the topic i wish to receive in my email inbox?
    when i click on the link, a page opens. what do i do with it?

  2. RSS feeds are made to be read by RSS feed readers and services. You'll need to subscribe to a service that emails you updates of your RSS feed. Like http://www.kbcafe.com/rss/rss2smtp.aspx or http://www.bloglines.com/ .

    Alternatively, you could install and activate this plugin and then subscribe to your blog: http://www.skippy.net/blog/2005/02/17/subscribe2

    RSS isn't meant for an email inbox. It is meant for an RSS reader program.

    i have signed up with all of the above.
    i still do not know how to get the "RSS fee for this link"

    the most success so for with bloglines.
    i still cannot get a feed for this topic though i can get it for another topic.

    Have you checked out services like Bloglet or FeedBlitz, which can take an RSS feed and create an email subscription? I haven't looked into their ability to handle specific categories/topics of a WordPress blog, however.
