    how to get rid of 3 cm white space under the photo of the shark?
    It is in the sidebar. Widgets under the line are in footer.

    There shouldn't be that much of a gap.

    How are you inserting the image in to the sidebar - text widget with html code or?

    Could you please add a couple more widgets underneath that one so that I can see the effect the widgets have on each other?

    ok, first, I unchecked "Hide Page Content on front? Default is "Show" - This will also hide the sidebar" in Front page content options...
    There is allso white space under the menu...

    The white space you are seeing now is the container that is designed to hold the page content i.e. blog feed or static page.

    If you look at the source code you will see this

    <div class="container clearfix">
    	</div>

    and as you have no content that will show up as a white space.

    Can you put up either the blog feed or a static page plus the widgets so that the theme is populated as it was intended to be. Also advise how you are adding the content in to the widgets - it looks like you are using a third party plugin which may be adding the space in addition to what the theme allows for clearance.

    OK for the white space above the footer I can see where the issue is - in custom.css @line 857 change margin-top to 20px so the code will look like this...

    .site-footer {
    margin-top: 20px;
    }

    This bug will be fixed in v1.2.1 as 1.2.0 has already been reviewed and approved.

    For the white space between the widgets in the footer is the widget id as "widget_sp_image-5" with a class of "widget widget_sp_image" indicating that you are using a third party plugin or code - if you'd be kind enough to point me to the plugin/code I'll test it out to see where the issue is and what needs fixing.

    Thanks,
    Zulf

    OK, here's a quick fix for the footer wigets whitespace.

    @line 880 adjust the code to this

    #supplementary {
        border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
    	padding: 1.1em 0.6%;
    	overflow: hidden;
    }

    Once again this will be in the next update.

    Thanks,
    Zulf
