How to get rid of “»”

    Every time I try to use <?php wp_title(); ?> it is preceded by “&raquo” in my source code. How can I get rid of this thing? Specifically, I am trying to eliminate it from my <title> section and meta sections.

    (I am obviously a coding rookie)
