How to get rid of index.php in permalink (2 posts)

    Dear Friends

    I want help to change my permalink.
    First of all my permalink structure is shown as follows

    http://www.physiotherapy4you.com/index.php/2011/12/04/sample-post/

    so when i try to change from my default structure, I end up with 404 page not found ERROR. Also how to get rid of index.php from the structure.

    My default setting is as follows
    http://www.physiotherapy4you.com/?p=123

    please help....

    Check what urls you have in Settings>>>>General if they just your domain name then check what you have in Settings>>>Permalinks you need to use custom structure and have /%postname%/
