How to get rid of email for post id or "entry-author-link"?

Hi,

My issue is that I don’t want an email address to be viewed.

Which seems to be the default method of post id. Unless there’s another way to change that default email post id?

I have already set the css to display none, but the problem is that the meta info is still visible on the server.

i.e. <span class=”entry-author-link”>
