How To get rid of "Categories" from my home-page? (5 posts)

    Here is my website: http://www.stwilsonphotography.com

When you get to my site, on the upper right there is this annoying "Categories" label. How do I get rid of it as well as the thin line that spans across to the left from it?

While we are at it, if you know how to move the menu area more to the left, that would be excellent. Thanks!

Use Firebug to see what needs to be adjusted. Your categories label is the left sidebar for your theme.

the 'categories' is part of the 'blog' sidebar, and might be the title of a widget (?)
generally: if you don't want/need a right sidebar, you could try removing it from all theme template files.

as you are working with a commercial theme, please contact the theme's seller for support.

    Try this
    Appearance >> Menus
Now on your right side, you will see various names that are on your menu. Hover over the one that you want to "hide" and then click "Remove" shown in red color. this will remove it.

I really appreciate the help guys, however, nothing above has worked thus far. "Categories" has not been activated as a widget, nor have I dedicated any pages that I have made to a specific category... I have not even made a category.

I have tried getting support from the theme's seller but it looks like he has not been responding to support questions for some time now...

    Any other advice?
