How to get pictures to show when you share on facebook

    Hello I am new to wordpress. I just installed it on my host sever and was
    wondering if there was anything I could to to get images to to display when I share my posts on facebook. I notice that when I shared something using the wordpress.com website the images appear automatically, but when I shared on my privately hosted site there was no image just a blank box.
