How to get from Blogger beta to WP? (7 posts)

I have a years worth of frequent posts in a Blogger beta account. I need to move that over to my WP blog, and I am unable to find a way.

I found some links to a supposed solution that was posted on webbleyou.com, but that site seems to be gone now.

Is there any hope in sight?

That webbleyou page is back now, but it still isn't a good solution.

Surely someone has a better way?

Well, doesn't seem like it, does it? All you're doing by constantly bumping is making people unhappy....

Try reading what the last poster in this thread did: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/94187?replies=3
    - it's not hard, though it's time consuming. Then again, if you can't stand to lose your posts....

You could also simply link to your posts on blogger from your wordpress installation until the point in time at which someone can dig into the blogger beta code and write a clean importer (which isn't a quickie process; it's programming code, and the people who are good at that sort of thing around here are VOLUNTEERS who have lives and jobs of their own....)

If you can get eCleaner to work on my PowerBook G4, I'll try what that poster said.

And I'm sorry that my posts on a website were making people "unhappy", i was just looking for help. I had no idea that people were so emotionally invested in this forum. My bad.

    PS. YOU just bumped it.

Yes, I did - because I had a post to refer you to which might have helped you.

I wouldn't have any way of knowing that you had a mac, right? Did you say that somewhere in your multitude of posts and bumps?

Getting help on this site REQUIRES being patient. Support is here provided by volunteers. If you need more than volunteer support as people have time and the knowledge to do so, then maybe you should use google to see if you can find same elsewhere.

As to eCleaner - most likely there's something similar for macs, I wouldn't know, I don't use macs.

[Oh, by "making people unhappy", btw, I was referring to those whose posts YOU bumped down and off the page.... other people who need help as well.]

Obviously, I read all the posts, especially the ones that I posted in. Meaning, I read about the eCleaner topic.

Clearly that did not help me, which is why I posted this topic to begin with.

I can't control anyones actions on here, but my suggestion is to please refrain from posting on this unless you actually have a solution to the problem at hand. Otherwise this site is rendered useless.
