How to fix (3 posts)

Google has tagged my blog as a suspected attack site. I would like to know how to undo whatever hack has been put on my site to cause this. I have no other users but myself. I only do writing, and occasionally incorporate pictures that I've taken or hyperlink to pieces that I've written within my own blog.

I moderate all comments that come in and if I don't know the person don't accept them.

I can't understand how my blog can be considered an attack site. I'm not tech savvy enough to understand code, and can't upgrade my WP version until my webhost (Host Monster) using Fantastico De Luxe does it. They are presently at 2.6.2. Any suggestions on what I can do would be appreciated.

It would be nice for those that use Google to be allowed to visit my blog and those that use Firefox and have checked off Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected Attack site, in their preferences to see it.

I've tried to have Google reassess the site, but to no avail.

  2. You need to take the blocking with Google, not WP.

If you are the owner of this web site, you can request a review of your site using Google's Webmaster Tools. More information about the review process is available in Google's Webmaster Help Center.

Start here and ask them to review it again. (Yes I know that's a link for a hacked site review, but it'll get you started).

Also, if you can't upgrade WP via FTP, go pester your host. The upgrade process is amazingly simple.

youll find that you were told what the trouble is..

long story short is that google is right, and your site is exploited.
