   How to export just one category into a brand new wordpress blog?

   Does anyone know how to do this? If so, can you please explain?

   One of my categories has gotten so big that I actually would like to make a whole new blog out it.

   I try exporting the whole old blog into the new one and deleting all of the unwanted categories, the problem with this is that all of the old posts went to my “default” category so I had to use the plugin “category_vis-rh” to disable users from having access to this category.

   Everything seems to be working fine but I noticed that after every 6 post there was a double post with the same #ID in it, if I deleted one thinking they were different and it turned out I delete “both..” for someone reason the blog its showing one post 2 times after the 6th post.

   Any help will be appreciated

   I forgot to mention that I was using WP 2.1 and my old blog has WP 2.07

   I've added an enhancement ticket (#4802) for this. See the attached patch to get it working with your blog.
