Hi … the short answer is no, this isn’t currently possible.
But I have to ask how you think this would work? Did you want to limit display in the sidebar according to the currently logged in user, or according to which users have posts that are being displayed on the current page?

Hi Gary,
I want to be able to exclude user or users from being displayed overall in the sidebar. Basically I need the same functionality as the Biography Box exclusion settings.
So it would be nice to have this kind of management for the widget, out of the box.

Agreed, this would make a nice feature request. I’ll take a look at doing this for the next release of the plugin.

The crazy thing is: on my site climategate.nl the widget shows only the 4 users I like to show…. but I cannot recall where I made that settiug. It was in another plugin or so… but currently there is no such plugin active. Still only 4 specific authors (not alphabetical or anything) out of 12 authors are showing. Just like I want it (and made a setting somewhere but forgot where). How on earth is this possible?
