• Hi, newbie here 🙂

Can someone please help me with this? Some of my WordPress pages have comments submitted by visitors. I want to exclude them from displaying on the “recent comments” widget.

I think I need to add some codes in wp-includes/default-widgets.php (between Line 600 to 690. I am using WP version 3.05) But I don’t know what exactly I should put in.

    Please help! Thank you!

P.S. excluding all comments from all pages is my preference. However, if you could tell me how to exclude certain pages only, that will be great too.

    Thanks again for your help!

I really need to know how to do this too… Can anyone help??

I would like to know this as well.. From what I understand I am trying to achieve the same thing as well.

There is only one page where I would like users to comment and see recent comments. I dont want visitors to see recent comments on other pages just the Home page. Please advise!

    Thanks,
    Allan

You cannot exclude specific pages or posts from the native Recent Comments widget. Try looking for a recent comments plugins with more customisation options.

Any chance you could point me in the direction of where I may find a “recent comment widget”?

    Thank you!

*Correction I mean Plugin.. But I think I may have found it. Thanks!
