   Hi,

   i'm still looking for a way to exclude some archive years and months older than 2007. I just don't want certain links to show up in the sidebar category Archive.

   Have you considered using the limit= argument with the template tag, wp_get_archives()?

   No, i certainly didn't (because I couldn't find anything about that issue in the german documentation) but I'll look into it.

   Thank you!

   But how am I supposed to use that with widgets?

   You might have to use Otto's PHP Code widget and put the wp_get_archives code in that Widget.
