Hey!
May I possibly see that blog post that’s causing you trouble with showing up as a correct thumbnail, before we exclude it from the results? Maybe we can still fix it somehow …
But if you wish to exclude it nonetheless, then I would suggest you to put that specific blog post in a new, specifically created category, and then exclude that category you just made from your plugin settings page.
Please beware that the exclusion works both ways: it excludes all related posts in blog posts who are in that marked category, as well as no related posts from that marked category.

I can’t post my site here, sorry. Not need to exclude it anymore i’ve fixed it by uploading the post thumbnail here “wp-content/plugins/wordpress-23-related-posts-plugin/static/thumbs” and renaming it to its assigned static image number. Thanks for answering though
