    Hello, My blog's load time is very high like 24 sec or more(http://workathomebysonali.com). Now I want to enable gzip to load webpage faster.
    How to do this with w3 cache plugin? I have changed value from o to 1 in option.php but still it says your blog is not compressed...
    Please expert, pour your suggestions..
    Thanks in advance

    I dodn't knowabout the plugin you mentioned, but for this purpose I use the following in my .htaccess, which works for me.

    #GZip compression
    <IfModule mod_deflate.c>
    AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html text/plain text/xml text/css application/x-javascript
    BrowserMatch ^Mozilla/4 gzip-only-text/html
    BrowserMatch ^Mozilla/4\.0[678] no-gzip
    BrowserMatch \bMSIE !no-gzip !gzip-only-text/html
    </IfModule>

    Hello.
    I see this thread in the top of the search and I must say it won't work on the most of the webhosting servers because of the different mime-type tables.
    Check this guide how to do it properly.
