• Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to get
    – webmail.domain.com to work (using plesk)
    – load a mobile theme when m.domain.com is redirected

    Any info on these subjects??

Plesk puts the webmail subdomain *after* the wildcard subdomain record. you’ll have to swap them.

    hmm,

    i tried
    webmail.*.domain.com
    but i get
Error: Incorrect DNS record values were specified.

    dns looks a bit like:

    domain.net MX mailhost.domain.net
    *.domain.net CNAME domain.net

    Yeah, that’s incorrect.

Not your dns records. In Plesk itself, the commands are run in a certain order. it’s hitting the wildcard record before it processes the mail record.

hmm, i get your thought/advice but i don’t see where to implement it.

can i use vhost.conf for this??

    where can i find zz_atmail_vhost.conf

    Click File Manager

    – go to / etc/ httpd/ conf.d/

    You’ll see a file called

    zz_atmail_vhost.conf

but in etc/ i just see group and passwd

That was an example, you won’t have the same. have you asked your webhost for support?

ok found the files and renamed both atmail and horde

    i restart qmail.
by using Plesk under Server -> Service Management.

    and webmail seems to work.

Now for the second part how do i get m.mydomain.com to work?
    – WP mobile theme
    – user mobile url would become m.mydomain.com/username

Any thoughts? Should i start another thread??

start another thread, yes. tag it properly too. 🙂
