How to embed a podcast player

I’m trying to embed a Podcast supplied as an XML feed onto a page or post of my website.

I thought it wouldn’t be a very difficult thing to do but plugins like Podpress and Podcasting seem to be geared towards people who want to create their own feed rather than simply insert one that has already been created.

Can anyone help me with this please?
