[resolved] How to edit images to Link To: None (3 posts)

When uploading images from within a post or page you have the option to specify linking a media file to page or to 'none'. But when uploading media via the media library without linking it to a page, you don't get this option, and I don't see any way to edit the images in the library to change this setting. By default it creates a separate link such as "domain/?attachment_id=34". But what if you don't want that and prefer images are not able to be clicked and opened in a new page. How to you change this setting for images that have already been uploaded through the media library?

Well I guess you can just do it manually in the text editor by stripping the link code out. :sigh:

Wanted to let you know this issue has been fixed. See https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/commit/cb50976d060a5eb4f50b4e5dbd93a3a64f2e76c6 for details if you're interested!

    Cheers.
