    Hello,

I'd like to embed an HTML slideshow into a WordPress site. Specifically, I'd like to take this slideshow make it look and act like this WordPress theme.

I'm wondering if there's a way that I can just do a search and replace on the HTML pages (Dreamweaver) so that it will pickup the header, footer, & menus of the WordPress theme? Is this even possible?

N.B. I'm aware I can use shadowbox.js to do this, but I feel that HTML slideshows are faster and cleaner for the user, so if it is possible I would prefer to have it appear to be part of the WordPress theme instead of a separate page/popup.

well, you could make a static page. You could then make a page template and assign it to that page. Within that template, you could code it to do anything you want. I'm sure you can code in your slideshow, or whatever.......
