    Hello,
I’m using a child theme for Sandbox Theme – Can anyone tell me how to edit the html on the left pane of Firebug?

(if it’s php, why does only the HTML show up there? I suspect it’s because all the content in contained in separate files, which get called by the functions.php file… but since I don’t know php, I’m not sure of this.)

WordPress uses PHP to output HTML…To modify the output HTML, you need to modify the template file…

I can see the html content in the left panel of firebug, but I cannot figure out where to edit the text.

I’m using sandbox theme and I added a couple widgets with text content when I had another theme activated. Now I want to remove the content in the widgets and in Sandbox, there appear to be no widgets available. And yet the text I entered is right there on the page when I refresh.

Also- if there is a set of specific text on my page – why is it not in the template file? At a loss as to how to move things around.

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

Please do not use themes found in search from such sites…there are many here that are developed with this forum in mind (at least)…of course that post is dated 2010 and may very likely work with wp from 2010, issue: the many current security issues deal with a known fact: only about 1 of 3 wp installs are up to date (thus insecure)….steps…test…
