Also, when I added a page “Home” page and made it static via “Settings” – “Reading”, “Home” page get created, but there is a word “Home” which I can’t delete. Cah someone explain how to do this?

  • Why?

If your front page is also your main posts page, it is generated in demand, so there is “Page” for you to edit. This is the case for all WordPress themes.

    there is a word “Home”

    And where is this word?

No, I created “Blog” page and made it main posts page. I mean when I install a theme I see “Home” menu, but this page doesn’t show in Dashboard’s “Pages” section. That’s why I try to create “Home” page and make it static. But after that I have that second word “Home” on the new “Home” page and this is the word which I can’t delete((
Can I can send you screenshot?

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I can see the theme doing exactly what it is supposed to do – if that’s what you mean. If you want to hide the page title on your front page, first create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

Esmi, thanks for response! One more answer, where can I get custom CSS plugins?

Do you have Jetpack installed? That has a custom CSS module.

Thanks Esmi, I’ll do what you told me.
