    I want to use "Company style" theme in my WP blog. But i am unable to edit the footer information. when i upload the edited footer. And when i click to my link, the index page take me to this page /index.php?theme_license=true and in the browser it says

    All the links in the footer should remain intact. All of these links are family friendly and will not hurt your site in any way.

    please someone tell me how can i edit this footer.
    the content of the footer is like this

    <div class="span-24">
    		<div id="footer">
    			Copyright © <a href="<?php bloginfo('home'); ?>"><strong><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></strong></a> - <?php bloginfo('description'); ?>
    		</div>
            <?php // This theme is released free for use under creative commons licence. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
                // All links in the footer should remain intact.
                // These links are all family friendly and will not hurt your site in any way.
                // Warning! Your site may stop working if these links are edited or deleted ?>
    <div id="footer2">Powered by <a href="http://wordpress.org/"><strong>WordPress</strong></a> | Cheap <a href="http://www.ifreecellphones.com/">Sprint Cell Phones</a> for Sale | Thanks to <a href="http://www.thepiggybanker.com/best-cd-rates/">CD Rates</a>, <a href="http://www.bankingzen.com/checking/">Interest Checking Accounts</a> and <a href="http://reversecellphonesearcher.com/">Reverse lookup</a></div>
    	</div>
    </div>
    </div>
    <?php
    	 wp_footer();
    	echo get_theme_option("footer")  . "\n";
    ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    and i want to edit this part.
    <div id="footer2">Powered by <a href="http://wordpress.org/"><strong>WordPress</strong></a> | Cheap <a href="http://www.ifreecellphones.com/">Sprint Cell Phones</a> for Sale | Thanks to <a href="http://www.thepiggybanker.com/best-cd-rates/">CD Rates</a>, <a href="http://www.bankingzen.com/checking/">Interest Checking Accounts</a> and <a href="http://reversecellphonesearcher.com/">Reverse lookup</a></div>

    edit functions.php;
    find the line starting with:

    function wp_initialize_the_theme_finish() { $uri = strtolower($_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]);

    towards the end of this line, find:
    wp_initialize_the_theme_message(); die;

    remove this.
    after you have done this, you should be able to edit your footer links without getting a message.

    make a backup copy of your working theme files before editing.
