I have a go daddy domain/host and uploaded wordpress through go daddy. but now my site address is http://www.mysite.com/wordpress when I'd really like for it to be just http://www.mysite.com. How can i fix this? Im not any good with code - is there a simple fix?

All you need to do is upload the files into your "root" directory instead of the "www.youdomain.com/wordpress" folder. This is usually called "public_html" in the file manager. So instead of uploading the wordpress folder itself, just empty the contents directly into the root folder.
Hope it helps!
EDIT: You can also do a quick fix by following the steps in this article. Sometimes it's nice to have things plain and simple, but if you want to keep it where it is you can do so as well!
