In the FAQ you say it's possible to link to the author's website URL, but I'm not sure what shortcode parameter to use. I've tried [listsitecontributors=yes] but that will not work.

It is a yes/no option you can save in its settings. So just do [listsitecontributors] and make sure the user profile has the website link filled out.
