How to display the post by all the authors but put text in beetween them.

Hi there!

I was wondering if anyone knew how to diplay a list of authors and there number of posts in the sidebar. However i am aware that there is the tag wp_list_authors but this does not fit my requirments because i want to put text inbeetween some of the authors. For example:

Administrators:

Admin (586)
Jhon (248)

Editors:

David (895)

ect…

Also if this is possible, I would be very gratefull if it was possable to put a little icon before each persons name and also if it was not outputed as a list.
